Seems like such a strange decision for him to choose football over baseball

Yeah, obviously someone is telling him they want him on their football team. He's not ditching baseball
in the dark. He may make it big in the NFL or not, but he's a much better option than many quarterbacks
on NFL rosters today. Seems some NFL general managers feel the same way.

Why is it a strange decision? If he is being told he's a first round pick than it becomes the obvious move for him. More earning potential with the NFL. First round he gets more money than the baseball contract with more lucrative endorsement opportunities. If he fizzles out he can go play baseball at 26. Can't really do it the other way around.

year 1, a lot of potential with highlights with his legs and excitement
year 2, sophomore slump like you constantly see with primarily mobile qbs with early success (deshaun Watson)
year 3, 8-8 record and questions about if he is the guy of the future and should they extend him (Dak Prescott ish)
year 4, no real progression to make the steps to advance to the next level as a qb. middle of the road at best on a bad team looking to draft a new up and coming qb
year 5, baseball

Considering it would be for one of the worst organizations in the league right now....that’s not a bust. Winning 8 games in his 3rd year for a team that just went what? 2-14 before he got there? That’s not a bust lol. Just saying.

i dont think he will be a bust, i think he will be middle of the road and likely choose baseball after a few years as opposed to worry about his job year in year out. i dont think he is a top 15 pick but thats where he will go, likely the giants or jags who will stretch too far to get him. i dont think he is a "bust" but i think he is average. too many teams reach for a qb and it bites them. for the 1 that is right many are wrong. even rosen is questioned as the long term answer 1 year in behind the worst offensive line in football. i think he will be yesterdays news rather quick. in the end i think after he has made some money and taken his shot he would rather play baseball than be a backup.

I’ve disliked Rosen from the jump as well. I said he had the frame of Aaron Rodgers. Which isnt a good thing. And I think Enflameo or some idiot gave me shit for it. He will be a bust because he sucks and because he will get hurt.

I started this thread for a laugh because it is so typical. A lot of you guys are just as clueless as gm’s. This is a slam dunk. Why do I have a feeling he is realistically 5’8”? Pass happy no defense Big 12. He runs more than he throws. And you guys defend him.

Haskins is the best Black qb that I have seen that their college game translates to the nfl. But urban Meyer qbs always suck in the nfl. And teams better do a CAT scan on his brain. Give him a sodoku and see how he does

Hey everyone watch out.

He measured at 5'10" and since Russel Wilson is 5'10" that makes it ALL better. Haha. These GM's get paid millions to do this.

If Arizona is stupid enough to trade Rosen to draft this baseball player, its decisions like these that have made the Patriots. Bellichick will be trading for Rosen in a second.

would love to see the redskins trade for rosen. not even that high on him but i think if you give a 2nd rounder for him and get him its worth it. he sucked last year but so did the team in general. cant write off a guy after one year, just look at goff. rosen would have a chip on his shoulder and be a young qb with some experience playing in the nfl which could benefit them. also like the running back and qb combo of guice and rosen for the next few years both on rookie deals. the redskins should make this deal, its a no brainer.

I'm trying to talk myself into the dolphins trading for Rosen but would only give up a 2nd rd pick at best

Charlie Casserly ripped into Murray yesterday saying that some teams said that he was a HORRIBLE interview and that if he doesnt go number 1 to the cardinals, then he could slide down

dont think they get a first for him so a 2nd and maybe a 5th would likely do it. if cardinals are taking murray they have to unload rosen and teams know that. even the pats shouldnt do a first rounder since they let some vets go and have some holes to fill. its a great defensive line draft, a lot of mid first rounders are still studs. weak on the qb and murray is being overhyped by the networks who have nothing else to talk about. dolphins and redskins need qbs and can get a young guy better than anyone else in this draft in rosen.

the thought that the cardinals may bring in antonio brown shows this organization is running wild. drafted a good christian kirk last year and have the best mentor you could possibly want for any player at any position in the nfl with Fitzgerald and instead you want to bring in a veteran reciever who says " i dont need football" and "i accept none of the blame". this organization is a head scratcher. fired the coach and trading the qb after 1 year.

I think the cardinals are trying to be the next rams or chiefs by hiring Kliff K who is an offensive minded coach. Kliff K and Kyler Murray share an agent. The question is do the cards trade Rosen in the off season or wait until training camp/pre season if a number 1 goes down with an injury.

I have no clue what fins do for a qb this season as they are planning to go 3-13 this season.

I heard a rumor that the skins are interested in Tannehill. Not a bad pickup if you can get him "on the cheap" as he has always been compared to a "poor mans alex smith"

Actually a Cardinal fan...probably the only one here (I''m not bragging). I don't like Rosen (I don't really think he likes football that much), but I think he played about as well as could be expected last year. I would rather stick with him as Murray is defintely not a #1 pick talent. If he did flunk his interviews and tests, he can be grateful for Lamar Jackson last year who graded out as low as you can go on QB IQ. I would really rather see them trade down in the draft for multiple players. They have already improved the defensive backs and can fill in other needs. AB is not in the mix. Finally, I am grateful they recognized their own mistake and fired their one-year coach...he was in over his head and it was obvious early in the season.

i pray to god we dont get tannehill, no offense. we already had rg3 and cousins from that draft. my logic is simple-if your not in a window to win now then at least get younger because your more likely to find lightning in a bottle. we have brought in vets who wore out their stay at previous teams -mcnabb, grossman, brunell and alex smith. and tried to draft with RG3, Cousins, Patrick Ramsey- and cant get it right. the skins arent a team that can win this year, so at least build for the future because the short term isnt promising. i shouldnt make fun of the cardinals organization when i support the redskins.

the line was terrible but kiper said if rosen was in this draft then he would be the #1 qb. to me murray just "fits" with kingsbury but he isnt a generational talent that you cant pass up on. i am not high on rosen either but of all the options out there for a team needing one he is the best imo and could be a great pickup for a team like the skins or dolphins where the talent of a first rounder is there without giving up that much. plus you do get some experience with him so he could play immediately

I don’t think the cardinals are considering him at 1. They are just hoping some dumbass team falls in love with him and will trade up and give them a fortune for that pick. Kingsbury was a pocket passer. He knows that Bs that Murray does at Oklahoma won’t work in the nfl. He played In The Big 12.

Just trying to get people talking because this is the perfect draft to trade back in. Difference in value from pick 1 to 10 isn’t much.

Is nick bosa all that? You are picking 1 because you suck and have a ton of needs.

His pro day is today.

I bet he goes 47/50

These things are such a joke. Has any quarterback ever had a bad pro day??

Playing against air with their college receivers in a pre-planned route tree that they have probably practiced 1,000 times
