Doberman I guess my point is - that if all these common opponents couldnt stop emmett but they stopped colorado - why will colordao stop emmett?


Any thoughts?



Kansas Stopped him (won by 19), Oklahoma Stopped him in 1 of their 2 meetings which they won @oklahoma by 15 (in the other TTU won by 20), Texas Stopped him (barely TTU lost by only 1),
and
Oklahoma State stopped him in one of their two meetings wining by 4 @OkState (in the other TTU won by 21).



However, Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma State also stopped colorado by 13, 21, and 9 respectively.


i just dont think this can be overlooked


at worst it means that this will be a toss up and unless I'm reading into it too much it looks to me like it will undoubtedly come right down to the wire making me believe that even if TTu loses - they will do it by less than a few.

Love the Uconn and Creighton picks as those two large chalkers should roll tonite. Miami is plain bad and I think Ind St. will struggle to break 50 tonite. Wake IMO is the best dog on the board and should make for a great game tonite. Rest of my plays will be up later with these included just trying to figure how much. GL

Iowa State +10 - Cyclones have been a lousy road team. But being close to this game as Missouri is my team, this is always a hotly contested game. Missouri will be going for their third straight win and third win against the spread. I have no doubt my Tigers will win but covering 10 is a lot for this inconsistent group. If Tigers cover this one and win at Baylor on Saturday, I will be convinced they could make a run but until it happens, I will take the generous 10 in this one.(loss)

Kansas St. +7.5 - I think K.State has been improving as this season has gone on and was competitive at Texas Tech on Saturday. Nebraska coming off of big win vs Kansas, I see a little let down here. K State keeps it under the number and could be another live dog so take ml as well.(win)(win)

PRETTY LARGE CARD FOR YOU TONIGHT ALSO. AGREEING ON 1/2 IS ALWAYS GOOD.

THE PAST FEW DAYS I'VE BEEN HANDICAPPING MY SYSTEM AND I KNEW I WAS IN TROUBLE, BUT AFTER TODAY HANDICAPPING THE GAMES I THINK THINGS WILL BE MOVING UP.
LASALLE +5 IS STRANGE IF YOU LOOK AT WHO EACH TEAM HAS PLAYED AND HOW THEY FAIRED. I SHOULD BE ALL OVER LASALLE. BUT IT IS HARD TO SEE THE 30 AND 40 POINT BLOWOUTS THE LAST THREE. THERE HAS TO BE A MATCHUP PROBLEM FOR LASALLE WITH XAVIER, OR MAYBE A COACHING PROBLEM. I DON'T KNOW, BUT UNTIL LASALLE BEATS THEM, OR EVEN KEEPS A GAME WITH 10 I HAVE TO STICK WITH XAVIER.

Kojak, I was thinking of Mizzou tonite until you posted then upped ISU. My feeling is that this team is going to click right into the conf. tournament. ISU limps on the road as you know and I think the house will be rockin' in Columbia. I sense the "woodshed" tonite but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Good luck anyway with your entire card tonite.

Missouri is my team and I sense a strong competitive game like always against Iowa State. They will be focused knowing how pathetic they have been last few on road. Missouri wins by about 6-8 imo. Best of luck.

I will also tell you that I don't think Missouri is done this year. Being originally from Missouri, I believe in showing me something. This team has to prove it for more than one game. I truly hope they do but until then I see more value in Iowa State despite road record. Off the record, I will make a prediction that Missouri rather wins 5 of last 6 or wins conference tournament and will be in the dance. Just a gut feeling.
