I can tell you that Syracuse has been struggling with their zone. They have played few quality opponents yet as Missouri is the most talented team they would have faced. Cuse is not a deep team while Missouri goes 10 deep. Tigers will get Cuse in foul trouble in this one. Also, Missouri has been playing better defense of late. These seniors know the urgency of this game and the Antlers will be out in force tonight as Syracuse will see a real home court advantage.

Any professional gambler knows that you don't play favorites. You are playing a team based on the fact that they are one which you are a fan. I understand you can twist the numbers and all to get the outcome you want but their are no stats to back this game up, no momentum, this seems very lopsided in Syracuse's Favor.

Exactly.........if Missouri is even to win, they more than likely won't cover, because they haven't been so far this season, especially against quality opponents.

you guys gave any thought on the total?? i haven't watched either team play but 150 is a lot of points, especially when a team is involved that plays a zone defense like syracuse. are both teams up-tempo? i am liking the under here. if anyone can give me some info on why i shouldn't take it, i'll definitely appreciate it.

These teams can play any style. I think betting this total is like flipping a coin. I lean towards under but game could easily go over as last year's game was uptempo.

I'm not saying that will happen to Missouri but they will play with heart and passion tonight which is what has been missing. Also, besides Forth, Syracuse has no height which is a strength of Missouri with Johnson, Young, Kleiza, and Bryant. Missouri will come up big on boards. Paulding is also an outstanding rebounder. I also noticed you getting on to ball breaker. Pretty big on your part considering you have only posted 16 posts. I don't see any reasoning on your part. If you would like to share some my ears and mind are open.

First off, my post total has no relevance for picking games. Secondly, I have every reason in the world to believe Missouri won't cover because of what they've done thus far. They are not covering, even flatout losing to quality opponents. Syracuse is a quality opponent, with a zone defense that teams like Missouri and the rest of their conference don't see enough to know how to adjust.
I'm not gonna get into an argument over a stupid college game, but you're basing your game off of your feelings and how you think the "seniors feel" ..... How can I swing a bet based on that? I'm just going by the stats. Good luck.

Ah Missouri the old system play! I love these you get maybe one a week if lucky and they are 63% against the spread over the past 14 years (since I was taught this angle). ITs been discussed here many many times.
Non top 25 team favored over a top 25 team. Play the non top 25 team. college hoops and college football.
Missouri -4 1/2 when I got it last night (knew it was a system play, they usualy go up as the sharps are on one side and the public on the other). Now at 5 1/2 still no problem.
Expect a high scoring game with Missouri winning by 12-15. Also play Missouri first half.

I am not basing this game off of feelings. You obviously have not read my entire thread or past threads to see I rarely play Missouri. This is only my 2nd big post on them this year with the other being Iowa. I am not argueing with you but we don't who you are or what you have accomplished since you have few posts. Maybe if you posted your opinion in your own threads we could follow you and hold more credence with your opinion. Best of luck to you as well.
