Husker: I believe Garfield is correct, so I have Kodiak 5-6 on the day, now 148-142-5 since the track started on 1/28/05. Garfield do you still get Kodiaks plays? If so could you fill in for my part of this track from 3/19/06 to 3/24/06 for I will be out of town and hard to get to puter. Let us know, thanks.

I'd like to help but I stopped geting Kodiak's plays a few days ago.
The only reason I was getting his basketball picks was as an add-on to his football bowl selections. I use Right Angle Sports for basketball mostly because his handicapping style, less picks and detailed explanations, makes more sense to me and fits my money management guidelines better. Much different than Kodiak's methods.
IMO Kodiak was chasing a bit and it got to the point that having the picks as information was not useful anymore. The reason I requested Kodiak to stop sending me his selections was because with the post season tourneys starting having the selections was becoming a negative info source to me.Something like too much info to digest with some of it questionable, so I eliminated his picks from the mix if that makes sense.
I hold no animosity towards Kodiak since I did pretty well with his bowl picks but I'm pretty sure i'd be plenty pissed if I had backed his selections with money during this tough stretch.
Anyway, good luck on your endeavor and on your picks.

Cashflow,
I think you can see what I was saying.
Selections on the first four games on the board and two of them are ten units GOY's and the other two 5 units.
He's definitely chasing and running very fast. Anyone that bets knows that at this time of year the lines are pretty sharp and you can study them and cap them for hours and see no GOY type of advantage. Also it appears he is in the mode of making the selections in the hope of improving his record and not to do the best for his clients.
Still very dangerous to blindly fade when he picks all the games and definitely not a follow because of the cold streak.
For me it's best to ignore.

chasing

Either means you are desparate, or in reality playing $20 a game, becasue the cash is already in the books hands.

This guy is toast.

Selective handicapping with proper reasoning is the only way to win.

This has been a good learning experience for ALL to view. Hopefully even Kodiak will learn from this.

Outhouse Tim: Don't think Kodiak has any idea what he is doing regarding cbb, he has passed out an ass whooping of plays to his players over the last 7 weeks and now he ups the units to 10. Should never be pressing the bets up when you are down, only leads to trouble. UAB getting crushed in the 2nd 1/2. :icon_conf It is already a very ugly display of capping by Kodiak, now throw in the very poor money management and you really have a train wreck.

The fact that he is now releasing 10* when his previous top play was five tells you all you need to know. For further proof, was when one of his many bad weeks earlier in the year, when on Friday he suddenly starts releasing IVY league plays (only games on Friday then) when he had no IVY games before. My guess he is trying to say that he is + units for the year so he can try and actualy sell his picks. Also hard to figure out why he picks Michigan St every game they play and Michigan as aplay about 60% of the time they play.

Here's some math to estimate how pathetic it is...

-90 units x $100 per unit=$9000 lost this season per player.

$9000 x 150 players = $1.350 million Kodiak has lost his clients this year in CBB!

UNREAL SHIT!

NO what's really making me think Kodiak is NOT acting in good faith is the way he is pressing....NONE in their right mind who has LOST sooo much in the past couple of months would be putting out 10 unit plays....WHAT CLIENT of his has that left???? NONE....He may have had 150 clients and exactly 2 are still playing his games, and both of them use monopoly money
