Wade is on an average team and Kobe was on an average team 3 years ago. Neither did anything. Shaq was on a team where he was pretty much the only "star" (great player) and they went to the finals. The same can not be said of Kobe or Wade.

what im saying is that Kobe and Wade have only won b/c of having a second go to guy in Shaq. James had nobody else to go to 3 years ago and they got to the finals.

When was Shaq on a team where he was the only great player and they went to the finals? I hope you don't mean Orlando because Penny was a great player and I know that for a fact because I watched them play religiously back then as they were my favorite team.

It doesn't matter what basketball player you are and how good you are. There isn't a single player that can win a game by himself, Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, they all need the supporting cast.

This much we can all agree on. That's the point I'm trying to make. Nobody can win it on their own. Shaq had Penny, Kobe, Wade, he wouldn't have accomplished what he did without them. You can't put down Kobe because he hasn;t won a championship without Shaq because Shaq has never single handedly one anything either.

Lets not forget when the lakers were up 3-1 vs Phoenix and all he had was Odom who was dealing with the death of his 7 month old son. When you are great that is harsh the reality of it all. The love you or hate you. People even hated jordan so go figure. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

superstar guard? he played with a superstar guard who has more mvp's than kobe and wade combined and he was in the finals way before he played with kobe or wade. check your history.
