Yesterday 3ks on 9 pitches.

Only the 83rd time in MLB history that happened

Will have greater legacy than either Andruw Jones or Jay Bruce.....

Rays may be most strikeout prone bunch in MLB, but 18 per 9 is obscene

Made me money today and through out the years. I think I was a young man when he was with the Braves

Since signing with CHC, Kimbrel has now worked 57 IP at (so far) just over $30million salary

Easily one of Top10 worst contracts (for team) in past 40 years

Definitely your dumbest post/opinion ever which is unlike you and from only 4 years ago. Kimbrel the future all time saves leader over Mariano Rivera, the greatest reliever ever!? Won't even come close to Hoffman.

Let’s not forget Dennis Eckersley he won Cy Young and MVP in the same year one year.

31 saves away from Leaving Eckersley behind . Might just do that this year or early next season at the latest

He got off to a rough start in Chicago but they are glad they have him right now .
The Cubs have a team option on him at the end of the season . Chances are strong that option will get picked up .

I would call the heyward contract much worse then then the kimbrel contract

Heyward signing was bad but nothing was worse than the signing of Pablo Sandoval. Red Sox have egg on their face with that one. He passed the physical though. Lol

When Rivera was 33 he had 283 saves
Kimbrel is 33 now and has 359 saves
Lets go easy on that not in the same zip code talk

Mariano was a great athlete and in great shape with great health until he blew out his achilles while shagging flies at age 42 in KC. As always health is key.
