DVDs sales are good but the real money comes from hotels and brodcast. Cable tv and such.
For a lot of lower end porn companies, if they sell 600 to 800 dvds per title, they are doing good.
I sell around 5000 per title or more.
it is a big buisness my friend. I am sure you buy Spank Vision in the hotel rooms right? You pay for cable?
That all get back to the producers
DVDs will be dead in 10yrs and sales will be low for all. Belive it or not VHS is still a big Biz. LOL

Wow, I never really considered the Hotel porn. They are like at least $10 per movie. What on average does the porn company get out of that?
Also, I always wondered what does a porn chick usually get a movie or per year? I am not talking about the jenna's and janine's, but the regular performers who has one scene in a movie.
Yeah ace. You rent a normal flick for $3 on Comcast or Direct Tv and rent spanktrovision for one movie (in which no one has eeevvvveeer watched the whole movie) for $5-10. Someone is getting paid.
BTW, I think someone did a check on how long people watch rented adult flicks and it came out to being 10 minutes.
