Kentucky basketball is off to a good start in recruiting for the 2025 class. Center Malachi Moreno was the first to commit. Then guard Jasper Johnson joined him Could point guard Acaden Lewis be next?

Lewis is a 6'2", 170 lb guard out of Washington D.C. He is ranked as the number 32 overall player in the 2025 class, and is rated four stars. They have him as the number four player at his position

College basketball is right around the corner and Kentucky fans are fired up for the Mark Pope era to get started. Coach Pope brought with him from BYU one of the most exciting offenses in college basketball, and one of the most important aspects of this offense is shooting the three-ball.

Bison shot 52.6% from three (10-19) Bucknell had 16 turnovers in their 1st game.

ESPN doesn't seem to think Bucknell will put up much of a fight…. Me either

While Kentucky fans have a lot of confidence heading into this game ESPN does not share that same confidence in the Wildcats. ESPN gives Kentucky a 29.3% chance to take down Duke in the State Farm Champions Classic on Tuesday.

About 6 hrs. for both...

This game gives Kentucky a great opportunity to prove that they are going to have a special season.

UK has a bench don’t know how deep Duke is? Think Duke has height advantage maybe. I see Vegas Team total for UK at 77 with their average in the 90’s. Final thought UK had 12 team fouls last game…. Impressed

Admittedly Mark Pope was not happy with in Kentucky’s win over Lipscomb was the amount of three-point attempts. While they shot nearly 50 percent from deep, going 12-25, Pope wants to see the number of attempts closer to 35.

Predictions: KenPom (93-63), Haslametrics (96-63), Bart Torvik (95-61), and EvanMiya (96-59) all are going with a 30+ point victory, Kentucky!

WKU is 3-2 on the season with wins over Lipscomb, Jackson State, and Campbellsville. The Hilltoppers lost to Wichita State and Grand Canyon.

While Kentucky steamrolled Lipscomb, they are a solid team, and Western Kentucky was able to take them down 66-61, so the Wildcats can't look past this matchup. This shouldn't be an issue as Coach Pope respects the game and doesn't let his team look past an opponent.

The goal for this Kentucky team when they take on WKU should be to keep working on defense and rebounding while the offense keeps doing what it has been doing all season long.

Reminder Pope wants to see 38 (3) point attempts! Let's try for 20 in the 1st half again. I'll be watching for rebounding off misses... if not back for defense.
