What I don't understand is why do people insist on defining themselves as a liberal or conservative? I would be very surprised if everyone who defines themselves as conservative is actually conservative on every issue, and the same applies for liberals.
Being a strictly a "liberal" or "conservative" makes it seem like people can't think for themselves.
