I wonder why Tampa does not try to stretch out Balfour and convert him into a starter. He would do a great job but then again who would take care of the middle innings i guess. If Rays can get a few in this inning they still have a shot.

Balfour only has two pitches he throws to good effect (fastball, curve). That's not a good recipe for someone who needs to pitch to more than six to eight batters.
