the stock market would completely implode with this "unrealized capital gains tax" idea.

if you're worth 100B+ like Musk, Gates, Bezos, etc your unrealized tax due would probably be 30-50B. to pay that you'd have to sell tens of billions of your company shares and tank MSFT, TSLA, AMA, APPLE, NVDA, META, JPM, BOA, etc then add in all the super rich people that aren't even billionaires but simply worth >100M. rinse and repeat.

then take into account their assets. Would they be paying tax on unrealized property value increases? probably... now you know why Zuckersteinbaumwicz suddenly apologized for allowing META to be censored by the Biden puppets and has all but pledged his allegiance to Trump.

oh and btw it won't stop there. right now the Dutch are passing a law for unrealized gains for anything >1000 euro to start in 2027 at a 35% rate

all these policies start out against the "super rich" then 6-mo later they're enacted for any homeowner who has 100k+ more value in their home than their original selling prices. People that bought a few years ago at 250k likely have a home they could sell for 400k now and where they supposed to come up with 52k (35% of 150k "gained") to send to the IRS?

i sorta thought they were joking when they brought this up 4-5 years ago but i should have known better

Gains on your residence are currently not taxable if your gains are < $ 250,000 and
$ 500,000 for single and married people.

If they start taxing your residence, they can’t win. If they start taxing other real estate as they would stocks, that will crash the market

People won't have the cash to pay the taxes. They'll have to liquidate

Once again, they're economic illiterates. Stupid stupid stupid people.

Harris-Biden inner circle have almost no business experience — no wonder Americans are hurting

Economists Stephen Moore and Jon Decker have analyzed the work records and résumés of the top 66 officials who deal with economic policy, regulation, commerce, energy and finance and found 58 percent have virtually no business experience.

That includes Biden, Harris and Vice Presidential nominee Walz, none of whom has worked off the public teat. (A dubious tale Harris once told about working at McDonald’s while in college doesn’t count.)

Moore and Decker found that the average business experience of administration appointees is only 3.1 years and the median years of business experience is a big fat zero.

“The vast majority of the Biden-Harris economic/commerce team members are professional politicians, lawyers, academics, community organizers, or government employees

"Private payrolls data showed the weakest growth since 2021, heightening fears of a slowing labor market. "
