IMO Chris Mullen is an unproven commodity. He has never coached, nor recruited, on the collegiate level. Think they could do better.​

This forum is about gambling. Every gambler should be very pleased with this hire. The black AD has maintained a mission of hiring black coaches at his previous two stops.

It's politically incorrect to not give black coaches a shot. People seem to think that black coaches automatically get every star black athlete who's living room they visit.

Reality is that the star players sign with whoever hands over the most cash to their parents and other handlers during the recruiting process.

A controller at a company I worked at pretty much, could not count, some of his AA subordinates laughed, he was just a perfect AA political appointment, and his entire department had to make up for his incompetency. No wonder we are $22 trillion on debt. IMO our economy is NOT doing as well as the fru fru figures show. The stock market is up because there are so very few places to invest, most companies have tightened up their organizations, downsized, and cut R&D. You still cannot get decent interest on a CD. The real estate market is bad, millenials are not buying homes. Manufacturing is a joke, hell, the cars we do make in the USA, what, 50% of the parts come from China?

You can’t put a certain year of experience on a position and never hire someone less qualified.

It happens in every job in life. People get hired due to many things other than experience and qualifications honestly. I know that’s what the conventional way of hiring is. But the times have changed old timer

They might require 6 years of experience. And you have 2. But you are the right person for the job based on other important things.

Juwan out of the Fab 5 from what I hear was always the adult in the room. If they had a game the next day or a test the next day...he wasn’t out partying.

What people say about you means a lot. His connections mean a lot. As well as his six years as an assistant coach under great coaches. He has developed some great people around him. His support system will be legit. It’s not even close...he is the right man for the job.
