According to KenPom.com, Michigan ended the regular season with plus-12.80 strength of schedule rating, which measures the total efficiency of the opponents that a team has faced over the year. According to this stat, the Wolverines had the toughest schedule in the country during this regular season and have played nine KenPom top-30 teams in true road contests alone.
Not bad, rookie coach with the hardest schedule in the nation, and he is going to the big dance.
spin it however you want coward. without going PC here , it works out to a .500 conference record and a 8-9 conference tournament game.. LOL . lets give him a fuckn reward and a pat on the back for that

What is their to spin? He played the hardest schedule in the country as a rookie coach with an at best decent team....and is in the tourney. Sounds like a successful first year to me. Win a game in the tourney even more of a success
programs like Michigan are expected to be in the tournament.. whoever is coach.. I'd probably give Martelli a big time assist for holding Howards hand thru the first year
Well again that’s one of the first things I said in this thread lmfao. That rookie coaches need to surround themselves with veteran coaches. Go look back in this thread. Lmfaoooo. This is exactly what I said. While you were saying he would fail I was saying exactly how it would go so far. Now sit down little girl.
.........
You were a failure
It is a dumb decision.. I still stick by it .. Doubt Michigan's expectations are a middle of the road team in the Big 10 and hoping to win a tournament game.. only PC fans would think this is some kind of success.. at best its still wait and see how this experiment works out
They had some key players leave after last year. I think what he has done has been just fine in his first year.
Lol you have the same argument about Lamar Jackson too. You think it was a mistake to draft him....even after he won MVP....how can anyone take anything you say serious?
Every top program loses key players every year ! Why is Michigan a victim in this department ? Just an excuse ? I never said it a was a mistake to draft Lamar , it was a mistake to have him as your QB if you're trying to win in the playoffs and a SB.. I will say it again even for someone like yourself that can comprehend.. A running QB can't win you a SB..
