I hear all of this talk on Dave Wanni and I must say he made huge mistakes in that final game in NE. They had no business losing that game being up 3 scores. Lucas lost 3 games himself and the defense had to win the other games Lucas started. Lou I am new to Rx and with the addition of Seau, Sammy Knight, Terrell Buckley, Jeff Zgonia from STL on D theis makes this the #1 D in the league period. With the addition on Griese and Thompson on Offense it boosts the best running game in the league and Jay Fiedler will only play error free knowing his job is on the line if he slips. Great bet and there will be a hedge opportunity 75% chance. I got MIA over 9.5 @ -125 and also have MIA 20-1 to win it all. Look out for a 12-4 or 11-5 season you heard it from the ProPlaya

I also took the Bears at 100-1. I felt it was value as other books had it at 50-1, 40-1 etc. I think coming off a 13-3 season to that horrible season last year was because of the QB situation and them playing in Champaign 4.5 hours away from downtown Chicago. They have a new revamped stadium and Kordell Stewart. There division is garbage and if Farve gets injured that opens up that whole division for grabs. I think the Bears got decent D lead by Urlacher and Mike Brown and have a decent offense lead by Kordell who has something to prove to the world. A-Train cannot have a worse season than last year, now they have a 2 man option when running with the QB and A-Train. Booker is a great receiver and their schedule is weak. If they sneak into the playoffs then I will hedge unless they have a huge season like 2 years ago. Don't sleep on this team, if they can go 3-3 in their first 6 games they will win 10 games this year. Look at their schedule and I know weather will be a factor in Chicago later on in the season.

ProPlaye,

I agree with your thinking on Chicago, but as for Miami, I think they will have problems. Opposing teams are not worried about the pass, which makes it harder for Fielder to play action. With McMichael's given more respect this will put pressure on them sustaining drives(last year they were joint 13th in drive time) That will lead to the defence being on the field longer, which I have found to be the main cause of significant injuries.

Hey Winbet,

I am glad to see that you agree with me on the Bears. Not that I am being bias defending Miami cause I bet them but Lucas played 6 games last year and that is the reason why they were 13th in the league in drive time. Jay Fiedler is 27-13 as a starter I believe and if he does get injured who better to throw in there than a hyped up Brain Griese. I can make a line -500 that they rank higher than 13th in drive time this season because they have 2 good QBs. Who do you like?

Biggest obstacle Miami has to overcome...

Under Wannstedt, the Dolphins have only beaten one playoff team on the road during the regular season(Colts in '00 & '02). That stat needs to get better if they want to be fighting for home field advantage in the playoffs.

Big Lou - Great call on Miami. If you look at the last few teams to win the SB, it's been because of the great defense. All they have to do is hold on to the ball and with Ricky running the ball they should be tough to beat.

Not only did Miami lose at NE they lost at Minn the week before. Bottom line, Wanni is VERY overrated.

I agree, Miami looks like a pretty scary team right about now. They should have beaten NE but their special teams choked in the last few minutes of the game, the punter kicked the worst punt of his life, then the kick-off coverage fell apart, it was a travesty. They had that game in the bag! yeah, I bet on Miami.

hahah, that's cool I deserve it, I guess, but I blame the Miami special teams, those chumps! and no, Canadians shouldn't be allowed in here, you should request a CFL board or something!
