Darryl, perhaps you could use moneybookers, they are EU-based so perhaps you will have better luck with them, not sure about how accepted they are and also their customer service was apparently not very responsive.....but without neteller.....something is better than nothing

I love Budapest. One of my favorite cities. I have spent about a month there total over the last couple of years. Have to say that the women are super hot and they dress skimpy. Its also the porn capitol of Europe!!

General,

I see you worked your magic again...just talked to your contact there and he reinstated my account! They even gave me a bonus of 100,000 netpoints for the trouble (ok it's worth about 2.7c but it's the thought that counts)

Thanks VERY much, you DA MAN!!!!

Now if you could only reinstate two of my favorite emoticons: the regular smiley face (not the one with all the teeth), and the guy bowing down, so I don't have to do this:

{bowdown} {bowdown} {bowdown} {bowdown}<BOWDOWN><BOWDOWN><BOWDOWN><BOWDOWN>

That is awesome. Thank neteller for looking in and going out of their way to help you, not me. I just served as liaison.

Congrats buddy

The General saves the day once again. That's sweet. Congrats Darryl and nice job General.

As for opening up the next Neteller, one of the easiest ways to do it would be to just undercut them on their Instacash. Charge something like 7 percent and just make a fortune.

I tried on my own and it didn't work so you must have some special tricks up your sleeve you're not telling us about. That's OK, though, a good magician never reveals his secrets.

It will be a pain in the butt to reverse all the reversals, but still a much smaller pain than to do without Neteller full stop. They said they're looking into the EU thing and lots of legal issues etc. but for me they made an exception.

Still, they really need to look into improving their email communication (telephone also...long hold times, nobody at their desk etc.), so you don't have to go public before they notice you.

Darryl, I lived in Hungary for about 5 years a while back. They showed NBA on television there a lot, but not any other sports. How is it now? NFL was not big at all and was not even showed. Do you need sattelite over there to view most games? Fill me Darryl if you can' Thanks

I deserve no credit here. Neteller read the story here and contacted me. I think it is a nice tribute to the forum though.

Good job Colin

Glad to hear the good news for you Parsons, working the games without Neteller is next to impossible. And General, oustanding job again, quit being humble. Without your reputation maybe they don't even attempt to work anything out for him. One thing for absolute certain, without the RX here for Darryl to vent about this there is no chance of him getting reinstated. Props all the way around for a job well done.

EJP, not a lot of US sports on TV here, except the big games like the Super Bowl and NBA finals. The TV market is completely mafia run with only the names changed to protect the innocent. Instead of the Gambinos you have UPC, instead of Genovese you have Antenna Hungaria, etc. The turf's been divided and you get your monthly extortion visit (in the form of a bill that's high enough to be considered extortion, with no competition or alternatives). I refuse to play that game on principle so whenever there's a big game on TV I just go visit a buddy of mine who has the full package.

Otherwise I just follow the action on the internet or do the opposite of the General who sometimes likes to watch but not bet... I like to bet but not watch :>Grin>

5 years!? Wow. That's a long time. Were you on some kind of business assignment? How did you like it here?

Patrick McI: I agree with your observations. Life would be very different without the Rx that's for sure (my wife would be happier too LOL).
