SPOILER BELOW POSSIBLY

what an absolute shitty way to go. I do not remember this story being in the news or covered as much as it should be. I went into the film assuming he died oversea's fighting, not back at home by a fellow Veteran he was trying to help.

Excellent movie. Yeah definitely a shitty way to go out after all those tours and all the time spent over there.

from what I've read, the only thing he was better at than sniping was lying and making stuff up, including the "I punched out Jesse Ventura" lie. Critics questioned Clint leaving that side of him out of the movie.

+1

Lying scumbag

I met Jesse Ventura back in LA when I was a kid living there and he was the nicest dude ever... I have nothing but admiration for him, yes, he gets quacky sometimes with the conspiracy stuff but he has great ideas on how to turn around the US foreign and internal policies.

I will never watch this film.

Yeah I think they tried to imply he was messed up in the head mentally

I ruined it for myself by researching Kyle before I watched the movie. I still found the movie pretty good even tho I knew how it ended

I had no interest in seeing the movie even before hearing about his less than truthful comments. I guess that snipers are a necessary evil in warfare, but I don't get the interest in a guy who skulked in the bushes, so to speak, to shoot unsuspecting victims. They even showed him considering shooting a kid, he seemed to be struggling with the decision in the trailer, but, ugh...

The court case is under appeal as we speak and experts think it has a great chance to be overturned.

BTW-some of the settlement money is coming directly out of the widow's pocket but you think Kyle is a lying scumbag? Fuck you. The insurance only covers 500K of the settlement. Some old fuck suing a dead guy and taking his widow and kid's money. You're a moron if you think that's a cool thing to do.

Kyle was a SEAL, survived 6 IED attacks and shot twice. Guy had more courage and commitment in his left nut than you have in your entire body.

Get outta here with this Ventura is a nice guy bullshit.

I wouldn't call the guy a scumbag, very far from it. But he did embellish to sell books, and not just the Jesse Ventura part either. Not a big fan of the other SEAL that opened his mouth about Osama either. Ventura had every right to sue, and I doubt it gets overturned, the evidence that these two were never at the same place at the same time, is pretty compelling. Jesse Ventura like to embellish too, his conspiracy stuff, is 90% bullshit, and he knows it.

So basically, if we dont agree with you or believe the same things you believe then we can go fuck ourselves?
