Do you follow any guidelines which drive how you bet across the board for a race? For instance, in the 10-20-40 strategy, would that be true for a 2:1 horse or one that is 10:1?

Let's say my budget per race is $48 and I like a horse. $16 ATB is obvious, but I have been trying to figure out a sweet spot so that across the board wager is more heavily weighted to win/place on a low-odds pick. I can figure out the $$, but don't have set criteria for the odds thresholds. (for instance at 5:1 or higher, $16 ATB or with lower odds, perhaps 20-16-12).
Here's some advice

Save your money. You don't know shit about horse racing.
