The NFL suspended Brown earlier in the year for transgressions they knew about. Then the transcripts are released publicly making the NFL look like total ass so now they'll go back and punish him again for the same thing they already knew about originally?

I've been a NY Giants fan for almost 60 years, and I have lost so much respect for the organization. Mara sounded like a complete fool yesterday. I don't know how much information Mara had, and when he had it - but he admitted to knowing that Brown was an abuser - and then he signs him to a contract?!!! The bottom line is that the NFL and the majority of the owners do not care at all about domestic abuse or any of the other crap that goes on. The only thing they care about is not getting caught. The Giants still haven't released the guy - probably want Goodell to suspend him again so they don't have to pay him or take a salary cap hit. Then you hear the sheriff from Kings County Washington basically say that one NFL security guy emailed them twice for the "files", but he didn't identify himself so they wouldn't give him the info. In another instance a woman who did identify herself as NFL security was denied the files. because it was still an ongoing investigation. One in which they never pressed charges. What an utter cluster f*ck!

I am speaking from 21 years of experience... Every time, 1 of my female clients confided in me this scenerio, it was literally the outcome. Pretty sad all the closeted hateful people out there. It ruins lives... especially kids lives...
