you never know when these things are gonna happen... this kid had allowed 322 hits in 319.2 career innings before this start... who wudve guessed. i rejected an invitation to a white sox game 2 years ago that happened to be mark buerhle's no hitter (see my avatar if you're wondering why i didnt go)
