You just answered your own question. Jones walks around 225, he would not be outweighed by 40-50lbs. He would gain another 5+ lbs too. Top 3 or top 8 will both have the same result of him being hurt and losing.

It's OK that he has outweighed many of the LHW's by 25+ lbs though

As for Brock, if the fight happens in a year or so, he would have had one fight in 7 years. Jones wants the $$$$$, not a true HW who has actually fought active for many years. Brock would rush him and get him to the mat and pound him badly. Jones only shot is to stay away from the takedown, which I do not think is possible against an old 41 year old who missed years of a potential career

Many of these fighters of today would not last in the early UFC days with 2-3 fights per night and no weight class either
