If you read the NYT article Gruden came after everyone, blacks, gays, women, the commissioner. He sent out topless cheerleader photos. Jon is basically the same guy you run into at a working class bar. I'm sure Mark Davis offered Jon a nice settlement of this contract. Obviously he couldn't stay on after this but he could have forced Mark Davis to terminate him. I'm not leaving $60 million on the table. Davis probably offered $25 million to walk away.
