blue,

I offer to remove your number forever
you make ridiculous accusations about CRIS
you admit cris doesnt have your work number
but some how they sold/gave it to me
if you get called at work again dont blame me
I have asked for your number to block it from further calls

we probably didnt call you anyway. did you just make it up
if you noticed, I dont run from anything
send me your number or just shut up.
if you send me the number you got called at I can tell you where
I got it in about 5 clicks of the mouse. so lets fix this.

you know what's funny about this post? not only is the guy a racist but...he questions what i do for a living. a tout, questioning what i do for a living...now that is funny.

:missingte
Lowest form of life as we know it is a tout. I'd rather sit down and have lunch with Charles Manson than a tout.

I have spoken with CRIS upper management and they very strongly deny any of these charges that they sell their customer caller ID numbers.wil.

Wow, that's a shocker! I really expected CRIS upper management to acknowledge they are selling numbers.

Something is going on without their knowledge. To play devil's advocate, couldn't a clerk be on the end of a period of tracking numbers that were being sent, record it and send the list? Then the dialing begins. Perhaps the numbers were being saved for a couple of days, who knows?

You haven't run from anything? You still haven't been able to identify what list you obtained the number from. Instead you've danced around the issue and have just continued saying you'll remove him from your list. Certainly you've got to know which list to remove him from before you do so.

Are you insinuating that someone is lying. If so that is real bullshit. There is no way in the world a massive sportsbook like CRIS is going to delibrately sell player phone numbers. In fact CRIS does not have Blue's work number in his player profile to begin with.

Think about selling phone numbers for a minute. Anyone can copy a phone book and say these numbers are players at XYZ sportsbook, who is to say they are not. It simply makes no sense to pay some clerk who says he has phone numbers.

This entire thread has turned into some sort of witch hunt because of one telemarketing call. I get regular product telemarketers calling me all the time, (they are very easy to deal with), where they get my number - I have no idea. I have been playing with CRIS for years and have never had a single tout call me at any of the numerous phone numbers I have used during that time.

Calm down Wil. What I'm saying (not insinuating) is that things often occur at a workplace that the upper management has no idea of. When confronted with it, they will deny it's occurance which they would be expected to do since they had no knowledge. If I want to say someone is lying, I'll do it myself in plain english. I don't need you to interpret what I'm saying.

No one is interpreting anything, I asked you a simple question.

Are you insinuating someone is lying - yes or no. No interpretation involved.

it helps to have the phone number so I know which list it came from. agree?

I didn't say that anyone was lying nor did I insinuate it. The explanation was given in post #69.

I stated what I thought in the next sentence of the quoted post by saying I think that something could be occuring without management's knowledge. It happens at every workplace.

If he hasn't given you the number that was called, then yes that would be necessary and if that was the case, I stand corrected.

if someone is stealing at CRIS I hope they have a burial plan.

Blue, are you saying that it is impossible that the line never could have called an 800 number like tellme?

meaning..

No one else has ever been able to use the number other than yourself since before November of 2004. People call 800 numbers all the time from the work place mainly because they leave no record or charges.

Maybe I can get Johnny Dimarco to post the actual list with dates etc..

wil, that is the phone in my office. i am the only one who uses it. is it possible that someone used it in 2004 when i was out of the office...yes, its possible. its also possible that o.j. simpson is innocent.

whatever. i am done with this topic. dont bother posting dates/lists. i know what happened and i will take measures to make sure it never happens again.
