yes was a clear foul and even torres looked around after scoring to see if it was called, but the right team won for sure. RM could barely even possess the ball

But things CAN go differently when the score is 0-0 versus 2-0. Being down 2-0 can kill the confidence.

What do you think of England's chance in the World Cup next year? I was thinking about putting a futures wager on them.

Do they have enough at the forward position to score goals?

I like the Heskey/Rooney partnership but there is not much quality in back up if either is unavailable. Crouch, Owen, Bent or Cole don't exactly inspire confidence.

What they do have if major midfield scoring ability in Beckham, Lamps and Stevie, that makes up for the lack of an out and out Owen ten years ago or Lineker twenty years type striker.

I could concievably see them winning if they gel as a team and play up to their ability under the guidance of Capello.

Will they win ? I think not, and unless you can get + 1000/+1200 I see no value in taking a chance of them.

They will probably make it to the QF then lose (on penalties LOL) to a Brazil/Argentina/Italy/Germany type powerhouse.

Pretty much my thoughts.

Gerrard is really coming into his own. I think coaching can make a difference in this tournament and Capello has them playing well right now.

I might put a little on them at +900 at Bodog.
