Wow .. could that have been rigged?? Almost looked like the rider threw himself off
Look closely, the horse started galloping erratically. An 8-1 takes a dive so a 14-1 can win? I'm not sure how you could rig that, lol.

Good call on the horse running erratically. I didn't see that until I watched it a second time. The horse pulls left just before the jockey falls. Unless the jockey pulled the reins purposely...but highly unlikely.

Guy's friends should get together a gofundme or something. I'd throw 20 bucks at it.

It’s like watching the last number come in on your powerball ticket only to have the emergency broadcast system come on right after informing nuclear warheads are on their way.

Hey, I believe there are many rigged races. Google Esmeal Jaramillo or whatever his name is and there is a YouTube video of him putting a buzzer in his mouth after a race. However, there is no way he would intentionally drop off a horse and get stomped on, which he did, to fix a race. He would have remained buried and came in third if he wasn't supposed to win. The guy easily could have died. Yes, he is in the 'know who to win' group, but to dive off a horse in front of 10 other horses is suicide. He lost a stirrup and went down.

I’ve taken so many bad beats. This Bettor must be my twin. It looked like he bailed prematurely but I agree no one would do that on purpose with 10 horses behind him. I wish they would name the guy and get his reaction. I’d donate to his go fund me page.

Hurts either way but would love to know if this was a whale ticket or some poor schmuck playing his telephone number for .20

Not familiar with the jockey but not sure what he continues to whip the horse when he has to be certain that he has the race won. If he puts the whip away and hand rides him to the wire, he may have held on even with the horse taking that minor misstep.
