both could happen if my math is correct
I think you said Steelers, Ravens, Bengals all make the playoffs. No mention of Browns, so I assume you think they're last (which is the most likely outcome)

I remember back when cincy had Dalton you predicted the bengals to go to the Super Bowl every year .
Now that they are good you picking them 4th ?
They had a shot in 2015 if he Dalton didn't go down late in the season

That team was good, and Dalton was excellent

Jets will do well if Rodgers can stay healthy---last year he was dinged but played anyway, he is still elite, he has not had good weapons in GB recently, he is so accurate he makes mediocre WRs look good.
Jets hung tough last year with good D and a decent running game but their QB play killed them, they lost a lot of very close games.
This year--again--if Rodgers can stay 100% they will win 10 games.
He had Devonte Adams until last year . That alone made his weapons better than this squad

His weapons aren't much better this year than last year. Pretty comparable overall

Jets lost some close games but also won a few. And most of their wins were over pretty bad teams.

Lost their last 6, and 2 out of last 8 after good (but somewhat lucky) start

Garrett Wilson is every bit as good as Adams and Hall probably the best RB he ever had

Wilson right now is as good as Adams was his final year in Green Bay? Are you high?

Hall is very young. He has played 7 NFL games and has less than 500 yards. Not sure how you can say that.

I'm gonna be conservative and say they win 12 games
Alright. I'll only call the conservative part ambitious. I'm just not sold on the coach. The Rams were done and he cried excuses before the Bills and Chiefs game. Should be a good squad

Interesting. Zac Taylor has really impressed me tbh

He was pretty spot on about the handling of the Hamlin situation. Bengals objectively got the short end of the stick there

I also thought he outcoached Andy Reid in both AFC title games. Reid was especially bad in the second one with his play calling but Mahomes bailed him out

Also could make case he our coaches McVey in the Super Bowl. McVey insistent on running the ball all game long, kinda kept Bengals in it

Those 4 teams could end up in any order. No guarantees for any team when your 0-0.

Could be

But the AFC North is getting the hype the AFC West got last year. And look how that turned out

Browns had a lot of hype last year too

Well they just paid Burrow. Let's see how coach keeps it together. They didn't actually come from the clouds the last couple years but came on strong as they went. Might be the weak link on defense in the division. If mediocre to start this year then I think that's how they'll finish

Best thing that could have happened to Taylor.

Taylor isn’t going anywhere, and now he has Burrow locked up

He couldn't get that roster to win 1. It's this season or not in his tenure.

His tenure is probably going to be a while

They're gonna get better players even if they eventually lose Higgins. Bengals been pretty good at drafting over last several years.

Honestly think Higgins has another year after this before he could be moved.

As long as you have Burrow and he's healthy, you're gonna be in the mix

I agree with most of this other than Taylor being long tenured. Not impressed with him thus far, seems like he’s maintaining a perception of doing a solid job because Burrow is simply that good.

You think a couple early playoff exits, wild card finishes gets him the axe, or you think they’d stick by him? Obviously, if they go out and win it, make the SB, etc., he’d be safe for awhile.

I think they're sticking by him for a while. They let Marvin Lewis be the coach for 16 years. He was the longest-tenured coach outside of Bill Belichick when he was done in Cincinnati

He was 0-7 in the playoffs

Mike Brown may die soon, but doubt ownership is going to be quick to let go of Taylor

He's not in the upper echelon of coaches, but I think he's generally a good play caller and connects well with the players. I think him speaking out about the BS last year helps even more with that

I think he was the better coach in both playoff games he lost quite frankly (in those particular games, not in general I mean)

Not going over 9.5 Jets wins it’s just too risky that Rodgers gets injured or dinged bad enough that he plays anyway and isn’t at his best.

If he’s 100% or close all yr they could win 10-11-12 with that D.
