ditto, but I would question his commitment to the game

seems like he might have 1 foot out the door
I think it had more to do with his commitment to the Packers then the game for his game

But can you blame him after all the shit they've pulled the past few years?

Got to the point he finally said screw this

Doesn't change anything for the Jets as a team, ticket sales will be in demand though.

Trade seems about right. Packers maybe slightly ahead. Depends what Rodgers you get which the whole spectrum wouldn't surprise me---meaning i haven't a clue.

But with that said---would be shocked if he played past this current contract. So at most it will be 2 years and he out.

Watch the Packers surprise everyone and go QB at 13

That would be awesome

Amazing they hae been set at QB for 30 straight years while other franchises havent even had a serviceable qb for even a few years.
Watch Jordan Love become a HOF quarterback then sign with the Jets in 2035

Never ending cycle

Who pulled more shit the past few years Arod or the Packers? You thinking because they didn't draft a receiver in round 1 for him?

Take the Bucs for example

Brady comes in and the very first year they get him Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, rb & wr depth, and draft one of the league's best Offensive linemen, Tristan Wirfs

Packers have done just the opposite

They also had a great defense. One side of the ball doesn’t guarantee wins. Packers haven’t drafted a first round receiver in 20 years. Chiefs lost their best receiver and brought one in who had been left by the curb. They won the Super Bowl with way less than Rodgers had for years. Why?

Play Zach tank the season while looking somewhat that your not intentionally sucking for the first pick overall.

Draft williams....QB problem solved.

Yes. Just like the way they tanked to get Zach Wilson.

The Jets gonna Jets. Failure is their brand. They will find a way to screw things up no matter what the situation.

Yep they would screw it up

If Jets landed #1 I really they would probably let Arizona sucker them into taking Kyler Murray in exchange for their number one & exchanging picks (Jets trading down)

Ridiculous to suggest the Jets should tank the whole season for the #1 overall pick, no way that happens for several reasons.

AND Williams, who says he can play in the NFL?

He is high profile and a great college QB, but can he identify the defensive alignment, get to the pocket and find an open receiver down the field and release in 2.7 seconds (per Brady) most of the time? I dunno if he can. I have not watched him a lot but he seems to run too often.

A lot of run too often college QBs fail in the NFL.

Jets should trade for a serviceable veteran QB asap, the season can be salvaged, though the Bills and Dolphins have come out strong. One of both will suffer QB injuries, so there might be an opportunity.
