“First of all, Jemele Hill and anyone else has the right to express their views,” Sharpton told TMZ Sports. “To try and silence her will not silence many of us that feel what Jerry Jones has done is put the Cowboys players in a position of either I must sell my right to express my feelings, my freedom of speech, my right to protest in order to do my trade and do my business. That is, in my opinion, disrespecting what the flag is supposed to stand for.”
“We will not be shut down and we will not be suspended and we will not stand for her to be suspended,” he added.

Jemele Hill Refuses To Give Trump Credit For Freeing Black UCLA Players
ESPN’s Jemele Hill didn’t give any credit to President Donald Trump for intervening on behalf of three black UCLA basketball players in Chinese custody.
LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were released Tuesday morning after they’d been arrested for allegedly stealing from a Louis Vuitton store. Trump personally asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to get involved, and less than 24 hours later the players were set free.
Hill didn’t have much to say, which is really surprising because she once claimed Trump was a white supremacist.
Instead of offering any credit at all, she simply responded, “Not really. 1) I’m off today 2) reporting facts isn’t stressful,” to a tweet saying she was in for a stressful day after the players were released.
It’s pretty strange that Trump, who Hill fundamentally believes is a racist, would work so hard to free three young black men from spending years in a Chinese prison if Hill’s accusations against the president hold true. Even if you hate Trump, there’s no way you can look at what Trump did, and not walk away impressed. These players were possibly going to spend the next decade in a Chinese prison.
Thanks to President Trump they won’t even spend a full day behind bars. Very odd behavior from a guy Hill thinks hates black people.
