Before the World Cup one of my friends asked someone we knew from Trinidad about there chances for the World Cup saying that Trinidad was going to get blown up and his reply was atleast we earned the right to get blown out on the World's biggest stage. I was thinking the same thing.

Maybe because they are letting the players play (imagine that)

Actually if the US had those refs it might have been a much different ending (maybe a tie). USA played too soft to win today.

Actually that other game is pretty good. The Aussies tied it up 2-2. I think they got the same officials as the Ghana game. Ref's handing out cards like a Vegas dealer.

This sport is for homos. I swear to god. The announcers in the Croatia/Aus game are horrific. Yellow Card galore. Ronaldo can score 20 goals in a game and still wont get as much respect as Ben Gordon here in Chicago.

The announcers in the Croatia/Aus game are horrific.

No way! Tommy Smyth and Adrian Dantley (Heatley? forget his last name) are the best team left. O'Brien and Balboa are ATROCIOUS and incredibly flawed, Harkes and JP whatever are average.......Smyth and Adrian are the only two worth hitting in the head.
