I have done this over 100 times. No one ever batted an eye. Of course, he was probably being loud and obnoxious. Probably dumped the water on the counter.

July 21, 2013: Winston is accused of entering a Burger King in Tallahassee and helping himself to soda from the fountain machine without paying for it. A restaurant employee later tells police she gave Winston a cup of water but that he poured the water out and helped himself to several cups of soda despite her objections. No charges are filed.

It's a VERY weak addition to the list....VERY

I know many people who do the same thing....they hate paying 2 bucks for a fountain pop.

This is too good. Playing cops and robbers with real guns inside their apartment and out shooting squirrels on campus. Haha

Nov. 25, 2012: A woman calls 911 to report that there are two men on a bike path on the Florida State University campus with what appears to be a black, long-barreled pistol. Police respond and draw their guns as they approach Jameis Winston and his roommate and teammate, Chris Casher, and ultimately handcuff them. The two tell the officer they were shooting at squirrels with a pellet gun, and they are released without charges being filed.

Nov. 25, 2012: A few hours after the incident on the bike path, Winston, Casher and two other Florida State players, Mario Edwards and Kenneth “P.J.” Williams, allegedly engage in a BB- and pellet-gun battle at their apartment house, inflicting an estimated $4,000 in damage. Management at the apartment house declines to press criminal charges after an FSUathletic official vows that the players will pay for the damage.

my thoughts in a span of 10 seconds....
my first thought was, thats nuts, what is he doing.
Then I heard it was to spend it with his fam and thought oh ok makes sense.....
but then next thought was back to, what an egomaniac. Continuing to do whatever he wants.

Physical ability is there but not sure how long he will last with his current maturity and mental state

Exactly.

Some of these guys defending this decision aren't even being rational.

He would be the first overall draft pick to EVER not attend.

Combine that with all of the other concerns about him and it's too much of a risk...

I'm sorry, but this is absurd. If anything the fact that this is even being debated shows how skewed people's perception is. If this was Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck it would affirmation of their quality of charaction. Instead it must be because he doesn't love football. OMG he filled a water cup with soda what a pos! The guy shot a bb gun inside of an apartment complex. How many people has he shot at with a real gun? 3, 4, 5....... Let's pull up police reports of other prospects just to see what kind of dirt we can find. If i'm wrong on this my thoughts are only as far off as other nfl executive's who don't give a crap.

The fact of the matter is he's already under a microscope & he's SILL not intelligent enough to not add yet another question mark before the draft.

That speaks volumes...

Why in the world would not attending the draft and instead spending it with your loved ones add a question mark to anything? You're high.

If it were Andrew Luck or Manning we'd all think how great it was he's choosing his family over notoriety and we'd further put them on a pedestal. This is dumb.

As we should. Luck even shaved for the draft.

I think the argument of spending it with your family is a little overated. Po dunk Alabama or his entire family for possibly for the first time in their lives going to Chicago or New York wherever it is on his agents dime. His family if he has one would all be with him anyway.

Here come the classic insults by fuego.

What if i tell you YOU'RE the one who's high & doesn't have a clue?!?

Maybe you need to know that every other freakin #1 draft pick loves their family too but still shows up.

Maybe you need to know that those guys did the logical thing & took their family to the draft to sit with them like the NFL allows them to do & we see every single year & that rules out the stupid "wanting to be with family lie".

Maybe you need to know that the word here in Tampa is that the Bucs don't like the idea & are saying if you're gonna be the face of our franchise, you need to show your azz up & get off on the right foot.

This guy doesn't want to spend time with his family because he could take them to the draft.

What this about is:

1. He wants to hang with his "boyz"
2. He wants to be Lebron-like with the South Beach nonsense.

1) That was their choice. We all have choices. You can think Winston is a douche for a lot of stuff and I'd agree but this isn't one of them.

2) Logical to you isn't logical to everyone.

3) I doubt very much that's how the franchise feels.

4) He can't fly all his friends and family to the draft.

5) So what if he wants to hang with his "bozy" as you describe them. I would want to do that too.

The timing of this decision, with all the question marks already on the guy, is indeed ignorant.
Plain & simple.

And yes locally on tv & radio the word is that the Bucs are frowning on his decision.

If you cant show up to you're own hiring, then what's next?
Missing team meetings?
Missing practice?

Since when do you have such an interest in Jameis Winston?

Being a Bucs fan, i have reason to.

None of this stuff matters anyhow because he's still gonna bust.

Of course, if he's the Bucs' QB i hope im wrong.
But i stick by my word & think he will flop.

Either way ill win as a fan if im wrong, or ill win my argument along with others here who thinks he busts...
