Paramutual wagering is a good example. Why on earth would a TRUE 60% picker sell or tell anyone his picks? The more winning tickets the less the payback per ticket.

Frank, I can easily refute that argument. Poor kids like me can't afford to risk much. When you don't risk much, you don't make as much. By adding a few clients, I double my income. If I only could afford to keep it to bet with, I'd be doing pretty well. I need to use it for real-world purchases though, so I'm stuck with the little bit I started with. Why make 5 dollars when you can make 10? It doesn't mean all touts sell losing picks at all. Just means they want the extra income.

 

1st off, Jake, all the power to ya! I dont begrudge you if people send you their money for your picks.

i still don't agree with your point. I give out the exact same picks I play. I do it for extra money, but that is not my only motivation. I want to win money, and I want my clients to win money.

If a person needs extra $$ *AND CAN PICK WINNERS* he just needs to increase the amount he wagers. A tout sells to cover his losing picks - It's just that simple.
