Jack is easily an above average coach in the NFL.

Have to disagree with you here. People are quick to forget how good this team was last year. People also forget the injuries they've sustained. Del Rio is a very good coach, on the brink of excellence with a healthy team and average season by Garrard. There is no way they should fire him. He's provided great continuity, and if anything, they'll get a few nice draft picks next year and make a playoff run in 2009.

Ray Rice is a better rookie RB than Slayton, but slaton is in a better system.

Chris Johnson is better than both of them though.

How many coaches can honestly win with David Garrard? The Jags have been good his tenure ( they were shit when he took them over) and he built that D but just couldn't seem to get over that hump called Peyton Manning in his division, and couldn't get past the Patriots in the playoffs.

You are correct about that! Playing a total that high you need both teams to score at least 20 and this has no chance now.
