All I'm saying is that this game didn't really prove who was better, Brady or Manning.

This game just proved that the Pats are playing better than the Broncos right now.

We could argue all day about if Brady had Manning's receivers or what if Manning had Bellicheck...it's fun banter. But Manning having the game he had...he didn't prove that he sucks and always blows it. He will wait until January to prove that.

Ehhhh, I'm starting to have my doubts.

I loaded up on Seattle in last year's Super Bowl because I was banking on Manning coming up short in another big game. He can't win in the cold and can't beat the Patriots away from home, who might now have the inside track on homefield advantage in the playoffs (although they have a pretty tough upcoming schedule).

For a while, I thought this might be Denver's year for redemption. It's the best offense Manning has ever had to work with. Now, though...if the Broncos and Pats meet again in the AFC Championship game and it's in Foxboro...it's probably time to load up on New England again.

He's a great QB no doubt. Probably top 10 all time.

talk about backhanded
to me, its impossible to get a consensus on the best QB ever. So I rather put 10 or so in the top 10 and just say they are basically tied for first. A QB cannot win a game himself. The best way to have a quick heated forum argument is talk about the best QB ever or politics.:toast:

This...

Tom Brady is the best folks

Brady is the best at his position right now. He is a player's player who makes others around him better. Brady has total command of the locker room and the sideline. He is one of them. The NE organization does not bring him into the fold in personnel decisions; his vocal displeasure with Welker leaving being a prime example. That only serves to strengthen his bond to his fellow players.

Manning is a player/coach and thus has superiority situation with his teammates. They respect him but you simply will not find him sprinting half the length of the field to celebrate with a receiver on a mid-game touchdown like Brady.

Brady has three rings and could easily have had five. He can sniff out a win in big games. He has never been embarrassed in a SB.

I will take Tom Brady in a SB six ways till Sunday with perhaps the exception of his hero, Montana.

Gronk is King Kong swatting at flies buzzing around him.

Not discrediting his accomplishments but people really don't think Bellichek could have plugged in a similar player with much of the same success?

He does it so often that we just expect it at this point

Everybody knew what would happen when he had the ball in his hand on the last drive

No he is isn't.

Most overated qb of all time.

It's more Belichick than Brady. Not to mention, the Patriots could have lost every SB they have been in.

I'm not going to argue with a bunch of politically correct panzies but I am right.
