I've tried my best to support Campbell because clearly there are numerous reasons why he has not been successful this year, (poor wide receiver play, poor pass protection, questionable play calling to name a few). On Sunday against the Bengals he looked bad and I certainly believe he is part of the problem and may suck. However, for C-Gold to continue to call him a dumb mobile QB is ridiculous and offensive since it is clearly not based on watching him play. You are correct in saying that Leftwich and Campbell are certainly more pocket passers than runners. I'm also not sure why C-Gold assumes Campbell is dumb. He is still inexperienced as a starting QB and he is constantly playing for new coaches and different offenses that obvious result in conservative play call. I've read numerous places where the WCO takes 2-3 years to be in place and this is year 1. It's gonna be a tough road to recovery for the Redskins and Campbell may not be the guy but I'm not giving up on him yet.
