1) large number of Chinese expats

2) aging demographics

3) northern Italy has highest pollution rate in Europe, people with lung disease will be hardest hit (99% Coronavirus deaths in Italy had preexisting illnesses)

4) an overwhelmed socialist healthcare system

5) hug a Chinaman politically correct nonsense

6) hierarchy of Italian family structure (many generations living together in one house)

Now that the US fatality rate is closer to 1% and falling, I am holding the corrupt WHO personally responsible for this global hoax! :>(

They smoke like the surgeon general warning hasn't come out yet is probably the main thing, but genetic predisposition seems reasonable given their #'s. Great country and it is on fire.

actually makes a lot of sense
1) 3rd oldest country in the world by avg age of citizen
2) sold off the entire northern Italian textiles market to china who sent at least 350k, and likely closer to 500k, to the region to work in factories
3) direct flights to/from Wuhan which were not blocked until a week after Chinese New Year (jan 25) when they were already back in Italy working
4) Italians encouraged to "hug a Chinese" on the street so they know you're not, well, racist
5) regional quarantine for No Italy not imposed until 03/08, nearly 40 days after first case

very similar to the Qom situation and time line who are now trying to blame American sanctions on their outbreak. unfortunately for both countries the timing of the Chinese New Year could not have been worse

i stayed in Florence for a summer a couple of years ago - I forgot how many Chinese they had there - in the Santa Croce church they produce top quality leather for centuries - if u take a tour - all the interns are Chinese

Listen fuckhead, stay out of the thread unless you have something to add. You pussy ass liberal. This thread documents why it is correct to call this the Chinese Virus. China pressured Europe into keeping their airports open and all of the Chinese people that came from Wuhan spread the virus to Italy (Chinese New Year). In fact, the portion in Italy where it is rampant has the highest concentration of Chinese people in all of Europe. This is not a coincidence.

Actually, Klansboy, UK and France have the 2 largest Chinese diaspora in Europe. Last I checked, France has 16,500 COVID-19 cases and UK only 5,700 cases.

Instead of blaming the Chinese like your Orange Hitler, how about holding the Italian government responsible for their slow and inadequate response?

Orange Hitler won't even accept responsibility for what's happening in his own country but he's going to accept blame for what's happening halfway around the world? Yeah, good luck with that.

Won't be long before the Orange Moron starts calling it the Italian Flu to further divert attention from how incompetent he's been during this disaster.

You can say what you want and you can call people names but do not call someone Hitler. That is not funny and Trump did not do anything to be called Hitler. What Hitler did was despicable.

talking wuhan specifically. not discussing the whole "asian population" unless you weren't aware that Wuhan is the patient zero of the outbreak? canada is not a textile center like wuhan and northern italy thus they don't rely on each other for cheap immigrant labor and shell companies to use the "made in Italy" moniker on leather goods and high-end fashion.

wuhan, hubei is china's textile center as milan/florence/prato is italy's textile center that is why the link is so strong and direct. it's also home to the world's largest textile university aptly named Wuhan Textile University (WTU) so, not coincidentally places like Prato. Italy's textile capital, are home to more than 50k chinese which make up more than 1/4 of the population. many went back to wuhan for chinese new year the last week of january and returned infected

i know you people hate facts so not sure why i'm even trying to put some sense in your heads
