the T I watched sinced he surged on the "A" field is not the same animal you have watched...(he's been an absolute bust at the international level...world cup, Euro, etc.). He is, will always be, a demi-simpleton. When you are annointed at 16 with a Roma shirt blessing, you must understand the potentiality of how it's about to mutate the individual. As I said, T has been a total flop on the international level, but in Serie A, he is to the game what Mario Lemieux was to the NHL. Yes, he is a stubborn mule with knee injuries dating back to when he was 22; unfortunately, like all, the older you get, the more difficult it is to hide the problem.

I totally agree with you on Totti, however I really believe Roma should have made a better effort to get the scudetto. They were lucky last week against Udinese with many call going their way, however their play remains solid at defense and midfield. Fiorentina is an emotionally spent team, tired, having played much more football than most of the Serie A contenders. If anything, this is a tribute to a truly motivational coach. Prandelli has managed to keep them focused through the UEFA duties.

SAMP looking for Cassano to continue to grow. This is the type of game where this gifted and forgotten bastard can make the difference. Montella's addition up front should also add value to an underated offense.
