Sarah wasn't just visting NYC. She was in NYC to help raise money for children with autism.She was invited to the game by Rudy G.
Her 14 year old daughter was with her at the game.Thats who Letterman trashed.
Don Imus said what he said calling a girls college BB team "nappy headed ho's" unscripted and on the fly. He apologised the next day immediatley.Was fired and after he was fired personaly met with every girl on the team to personally apologise on his own.
Lettermen's joke was prearranged.Then gave a half hearted sarcastic apology like a little spoiled child.I think people were more pissed at that.

The jokes in here are better than the one told by Letterman.

Like him or not, he fucked up, he apologized, and then he apologized again. The Far Right always accuses the Far Left of overreacting, which they do, being the blowhards that they are. So now they want to keep up the pressure to get him canned, and they're overreacting.

Letterman already is stained and that should be enough. His career will plummet anyway if he's just left alone. This story is more overplayed than Lady Gaga. Let it die a natural death already.
