Just keep the teams in the locker room during the anthem. College ball does this and there is really no problem. Most football fans love the country and will stand. The players are just actors in the play.
If the media would stop giving it lip service it would just fade away.

Here's a question to ponder, if the league and teams support the players’
right to kneel during the anthem, how will kneeling players react if any
of their teammates choose not to kneel?

Does that make them the protesters?
