This thread makes me miss my Golden Retriever. My wife's been after me to get another one for the last few months. This isn't the right time since we'll be moving, but I'm not sure I want to go through it again. I've known many one and done, pet owners. 11 3/4 years of joy, but that last 3 months will rip your heart out. I'm still not over it.
