Is Bush trying out to be Leno's replacement? Someone needs to tell him this is a presidential debate not last comic standing.
One of the funniest parts for me was when you was responding to Kerry saying he owned part of a timber company..
It looked like Bush was trying to think of a really clever comeback.. in his head was " need something made of wood , need something made of wood, cmon, god help me with this!" until he finally came out with..

"anobody need some wood " :)

<!--StartFragment -->On that timber thing. From Fact-Check.org...

President Bush himself would have qualified as a "small business owner" under the Republican definition, based on his 2001 federal income tax returns. He reported $84 of business income from his part ownership of a timber-growing enterprise. However, 99.99% of Bush's total income came from other sources that year. (Bush also qualified as a "small business owner" in 2000 based on $314 of "business income," but not in 2002 and 2003 when he reported his timber income as "royalties" on a different tax schedule.)

ABC just called Bush on his deception. Exactly as it is reported on factcheck.org. He claimed income from a timber company.

But both continued to throw out figures and assertions that have already been challenged and refuted by the fact checkers. My question is what in FuKK is up with their handlers? Why don't they correct their mistakes and get it accurate?

After watching tonight, I nolonger view these "shows" as debates. They are who looks and sounds the best the most real . It's more like a "Mr America contest". Who cares about facts--just sound "good"Spin and spin control. The one good thing that I see is that each of these so called instant polls--more and more people are identifying themselves as Independents.
I just wish the Reform Party had a candidate. But we are stuch with what Ross Perot once called : Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum.
