USC is almost definitely out with a loss
Would be interesting to see who gets in and the explanation lf TCU, and Ohio St have 1 loss and Bama 2

USC is obviously out if they lose

If TCU and USC both lose, the committee will have to decide between TCU and Alabama for the 4th spot. Ohio State will be third. I think they’d pick TCU

The more you look into it, it’d be pretty ridiculous if Alabama was picked 5th tonight over Ohio State. The only reason would be SEC bias from the committee. Alabama simply doesn’t have a good enough resume.

Basically Alabama is likely dead no matter what happens this weekend, unless they are somehow placed 5th tonight.

That seems very unlikely but I guess crazier things have happened

Yeah I'm saying If Utah loses, Kansas State may knock TCU out of it. That is a little murkier though, but I would think Ohio State gets nudge over TCU

I think if you are talking TCU losing you are basically comparing a 1 loss TCU team to a 2.5 loss Alabama team because TCU would have lost their championship game and Alabam didn't have to play one

Unless you can say in your mind TCU 100% loses at least 3 games if they played Alabamas schedule and Alabama 100% goes undefeated if they played TCu schedule no way can you put Alabama ahead of TCU
And a similar staement for Ohio St compated to TCU
IMO I say it again it is a joke if TCU does not get in

Maybe it'll depend on how they lose. Committee has historically not seemed to care much about that

But they definitely could miss spot if they lose. Committee has been pointing holes in them every week, and I'm sure they'd love an excuse to keep them out

I'd like to see them in there because it's something different, but they wouldn't be a lock by any stretch if USC wins and they lose

Honestly if TCU is a top 4 team they should beat Kansas State by double digits . Shouldn’t be much of an issue

I'm not questioning that Mich is very good, but I've been at them all year for their real rough non-conference schedule of 3 MAC teams. So, they beat Penn State and Ohio State (big wins and very impressive), but they aren't facing too many tough opponents in b/w those games are they?

They beat 2 big teams all year and the rest were border-line cupcakes and now they have a chance to get crowned?
