Hitman I know you are a Fool fan, just wondering do you know what ever happened to Champion Funds? It was their mutual funds newsletter (not that I want to invest in mutual funds) but just curious what happened to it.

I don't know. I would imagine that there wasn't enough interest. They have something called Rule your Retirement which was probably substituted for champion funds.

Do they really have to send me an email every single week telling me about an opportunity that only comes along every 10 years?

According to the junk they send me, 10 years=a week because every single week they have a new investment that only comes along every 10 years.

That is why I started this thread.

Until they change there marketing tactics I will never give them the time of day.

FWIW, I got their 30 day free trial recently and looked it over. Their record is legit but most of the 5-15 baggers were stocks they recommended way back when the newsletter started in 03-04. They have had some big gainers lately but really nothing that crazy given we've had 26 months of such positive gains.

Priceline, Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Quality Systems were the big gainers but all were from 03-04 range.

BTW hitman, any clue if two people can be logged in at the same time or from different computers or does Fool wise up to that? Wanted to show it to my friend while I got the trial.

I've been with TD for over 10 years and have been happy overall but had I known about IAB I would have just started there.

"TD" is ? (I'm extremely casual lurker in this forum, thanks)

TD = TD Ameritrade. Use to be just Ameritrade but they bought TD Waterhouse a few years back hence the name change.

Patsfan: Not sure about logging in on two different computers. I use my iphone and my personal pc to view content so I guess it would be okay.

Anyone know where Motley Fool Global Gains went on the mainpage? Don't see it there anymore. Did they just discontinue it cause it was doing poor, was it even doing that poor? Weird.
