yeah I think the Mayor has already hinted there will prob be no big events in parks like Lolla, taste of chicago ect this year.

which sucks, there are alot of big music festivals in our public parks. I have properties that were able to be transitioned to soley air bnbs instead of rentals and make more $, and if a property is relatively close to a venue owners will increase fees 300-500% that week and and fill up in months ahead of time.

that would be nice.

I think beyond losing a percentage of customers to fear of Covid, you also will have a significant portion of people that just can't budget for eating out, right?

the expendible and discretionary income available for restaurant patronage is just getting to go in the shitter for a long while.

I wonder what percentage of us are ACTUALLY taking a major hit right now? (not trying to be a dick to the ones that are currently suffering). Those people probably wouldnt go out to each. However, with less patrons allowed to eat at restaurants, then it all evens out (sort of)

i have 2 concerts this summers at dolphins stadium. Part of me still wants to go. Part of me is a little nervous to go.

Hopefully both get pushed back to the fall/winter as the stadium wont be 90 degrees

Bold prediction. I feel completely opposite. I think they come booming back. I guess we will see who is right. Tough for me to imagine a world without resturants. I say there is 0% chance you are correct

He didn't say there wouldn't be any restaurants. I don't think there's any doubt that many aren't going to survive. It already was a tough business during a good economy.
