in fairness, that would take a ton of trust from the player, as I'm sure there's a fair share of stiff books...

I think 50% of your desired credit limit down is fair, but even then being a forum bookie isn't appealing.

Once you establish your cred your rep is the trust.

Just like a post up book.

You will never see a thread from me about getting stiffed at xyz post up book because they offered a 100% deposit bonus like you see all the time over here.

My money is at BM, 5D, and Heritage in that order.

You make them agree to your conditions.
If they can't trust you to hold a 3K deposit the relationship would never work anyway so who gives a fuck.

I would never open up a credit line with someone that I can't trust to send 3K to.

Anyway if you guys want to have a 40% stiff rate and you can live with that just keep doing what you are doing.

Don't they all seem like good guys at first?
I know a "SO CALLED" good guy I referred one time that was a "SO CALLED" good guy.
2K later and 2 weeks later no longer a good guy.

Yeah I definitely didnt send him any players, I was under the impression that he had personal relationships with all his players. We split ways about 6 months ago and he left me with a small figure for fees. I saw he popped up here recently and asked him to send the fees and he said it wasnt a problem. Upon closer review it appears I may have been duped. It looks like he sent me a receipt from a SportsOption payment and in the description put the notes that I asked him to include.

How do you know his job/drug situation?

Let me rephrase: you must THINK you know his situation.

Appreciate the "kind" words of commiseration, but if you don't know what you're talking about then just STFU

25 years experience in the business world enables me to make judgements.

And, I read what the idiot wrote on this forum.

My judgement is 100% correct.

Thanks!

assuming the payment wasn't suppose to go to SportsOptions. What a POS... Yeah, at least one of those players said he learned the hard way dealing with him.

There's so much that can be said here but why would anyone offer anyone else credit whom they didn't see in person often. It's such a dirty tainted industry....basically 90% of it revolves around ripping people off and get getting ripped off....the crazy thing is it becomes not even about sports, something we all loved at one time which brought us here. Sure it's easy to say why would anyone play anywhere other than a 5Dimes, Heritage, or Bookmaker...but only 10% or so of offshore bettors even read these forums...to the average Joe gambler he thinks they're all the same....an 18thhole is the same as a Bookmaker.

There's things you can only learn about this industry after you've put the years in.

So many levels of deceit and scams out there...I mean people playing at this 18thhole think they're gambling with this millionaire Leo in Costa Rica, when it's really a broke guy named Caesar in Pennsylvania they're playing with. These PPH shops due the unknowing no favors.

I personally know guys with more money than most and I know without a doubt they'd stiff someone on a forum too given the opportunity, without question.

So many wannabe bookies out there that don't know how to book.
You think its as easy as setting up a PPH and letting the money roll in.
You could not be more wrong.

Some of you guys need to get out of the booking business.
I would never allow any poster on this forum a credit account even if they had 1000000000000 post and was a super super super mod without a deposit.

But if you guys want to keep lying to yourself thinking that the next forum poster is going to be better then the last forum poster then all I can say is good luck.

You are a grade a moron. Every time you open your mouth it's apparent.

He didn't offer some random poster credit.

I know Defying. Personally, not just on these boards.

I vouched for this piece of shit (PWP).

THAT'S why he gave him credit. Let's not lose sight of that.

I think the statement was fairly accurate, there are way too many wannabe bookies out there.

Its like NFL trends leaving 6K in his night stand drawer and his guest stealing the money.
Yes the guest who stole his money are scum of the Earth.
But him leaving 6K in his nightstand drawer was just as dumb.

Unbelievable.

I will just close this out by saying this.

This would have never happened to me.

If that makes me a grade A moron then awesome.
Im glad im a grade A moron.

I would never let someone take advantage of me like that.
And I would never let my guest steal 6K from my nightstand.

If that makes me a grade A moron then I think thats just great.

Maybe one day when I grow up I can be a grade B moron like you guys and let internet strangers steal money from me.

You are just miserable, but let's see if you can follow me.

Locals who offer credit accounts as their bread and butter...there is a lot of risk. No matter how hard you try to do it right, there is an element of risk inherent in the business model. So you try to keep it tight, only book friends, etc. But if you were to ONLY book people you TRULY trusted with your life, your client sheet would consist of your wife and your parents, and I doubt your mom wants a nickel on Michigan this afternoon.

This is how a credit local builds his business. He extends credit to people that, in his estimation, are worthy of that credit. If you think there are people out there with 750 credit scores clamoring for credit accounts you got another thing coming. You are dealing with a seedy bunch by nature.

I have known Defying for a long time and I also know PWP and I vouched. For you to turn around and give the bookie some sort of culpability is ignorant.

Of course it wouldn't. Because you don't have the balls, means or VISION to extend players credit. Simple really.

No shit, someone who doesn't book a large volume would never get stiffed. SHOCKER.

If you're saying you do book successfully as a local and don't deal with the occasional stiff job, you're the luckiest man on Earth or a liar. I lean towards the latter.
