How would Durant know that the Thunder were going to get George for Oladipo (Ibaka) in a year? That deal was out of nowhere and most people were surprised that OKC was able to make it when it happened.

Really if KD was still on OKC, I'm not even sure if the Pacers would've done that deal as they would clearly be seen as stacking the deck for OKC and no one really wants to be the team that puts another team over the top.

The team you're describing had very little practical chance to form.

Agree with you.

Y'all are missing the point. This is a gambling forum. You should be talking about how the Cavs to come back and win the series at +1000000 (or whatever it is) is, what we call in the business, an absolute L-O-C-K. It's the ideal setup. Why do you think they pussyfooted with this legal gambling? Shit...if that play was on the board, I'd travel the US and put those motherfukkers out of business before they get their first utility bill.

This isn't Lebron's fault - GS is just one of the best teams of all time - reality is the Cavs are leaps and bounds behind SA with Leonard, Houston or Boston (with it's players) - Lebron can go to Philly - same result - only teams he can realistically go to and beat GS are Houston and SA

I was gonna save this until after the Cavs were eliminated but I think people are sleeping on him going to the Celts.

It's easily doable and clearly the best fit from a purely basketball standpoint. Hou/SA both would have to get very creative in terms of maneuvering to make a LeBron move happen.

I don't know if it will happen but it's a no brainer if we're just talking championship equity.

(and in this scenario Kyrie would be traded if anyone was wondering)

His best chance for a title next year is to go play with his buddy Chris Paul in Houston. Philly could take a couple years. Lakers are too far away. Don't think he goes there. It's either Houston or Philly.

From BetOnline:
Rockets +150
Lakers +300
76ers +350
Cavaliers +350
Spurs +1200
Warriors +1800
Clippers +1800
Celtics +2000

CP will be 34 next year and has really struggled to go the full 8 month season. It's hard to see him becoming more durable as he gets older. I know him and Bron are like family but I'd probably think long and hard about that 1. It would be very difficult for Houston to re-sign Ariza and Mbah Moute and they would have to shed Ryan Anderson's deal as well. Just a lot of complications.

Celts is the bball situation in terms of youth, defense, coaching, guys who can play both ends for him. I'd say it is a better chance than the 4.55% the oddsmakers give it. Especially since he is probably pretty tired of losing to GS at this point.

Pop that bet and thank me later.

Had David Blatt fired.
Gave away Andrew Wiggins for Kevin Love.

Now get the fuck out and don't come back.

Finals MVP is pretty dumb really, should do it like hockey where it's more of a playoff MVP.
