If he beats VTECH and Oklahoma, then HELL YES!!!!!

Miami is only the 2nd team in last 15 years to open the season against 4 ranked teams! If he beats all 4 teams, HELL YES!!! :toast:

But not yet, 2 games are not enough yet!
Miami is a team not just a "he". They wont win both either

Harris is definitely in the mix he has the best touch in college football hands down. This kid is something special. He has the body control of a tiger..... I personally think he is in the top 5 in the country right now @)

I will also say this this kid will be spectacular in the NFL. The way he throws the deep ball and the touch he has..... sets up perfect for the NFL@)

Jacory Harris rules. His high school record was no fluke, although he had some serious talent around him, he was the leader. Same thing at the U.

Only if Pigs could fly!! This kid doesnt hold a candle to Tebow... etc.

He may not be as good as Tebow is today, but he has already lead his team to more victories against ranked opponents then TEBOW did his soph. year.

This is the problem with having polls this early in the season. Neither Fl St nor Ga Tech are top 25 teams right now.

This year, probably not. But in the next few years, I think the Canes will be stronger as they are relatively young. It is hard to win a Heisman on an 8-4 team, and even though I root for the Canes, I can't see them winning 10 games this season. But next year, I think he is a legit candidate, assuming no injuries and continued development, especially if the OC Whipple stays there.

not this year, next year if he's legit this year he'll be a top candidate though.

i also agree that harris is a special talent and will end up being one of the top QB's drafted whenever he decides to come out.
