And Kirk Maltby has 4 rings, but that doesnt make him an HOF'er. Point is, Ozzie has been a liability this season, and whatever kind of magic, mojo, fumes he had last year is not present this year, and we are seeing the Ozzie that Islanders and Blues fans know.

I didn't finish the game last night but was just watching the highlights this a.m. on "NHL on the fly". Seeing that 6th San Jose goal and I immediately thought that it was off side. It had to be. No one could get that much of a break behind the defense. Backed up the play, slowed it down and sure enough Marleau was off side when he took the pass. Did anyone question this last night?


Never mind just pulled it up off NHL.com and there's my answer.

Yeah they were talking about it on the Wings' postgame. I never actually caught the slo-mo replay so all I could do is wonder because it looked very close to me. Certainly looks that way after watching it a few times.

Thanks refs. Gotta love Bettman's "even up everything" NHL. Without makeup calls, Wings win this probably by 2 or most likely 3.
