By no means do I regard myself as a Liberal. I live in the UK but have voted for 4 different parties over the years covering all bases.
The one guiding principle I have is never to vote for an incumbent who has performed incompetently, regardless of how unproven the opponent may be.
Since Afghanistan the Bush administration has made one massive blunder after another. In so doing, the enormous support for the USA which had built up around the world by late 2001 has been destroyed. Everyone is now paying the price for this incompetence and we will be paying it for some time yet even if Kerry wins.
If anyone in the USA needs to ask how this election is playing overseas, just pick up a UK RIGHT-wing paper such as the Daily Mail. Normally pro anyone Republican, they are between lukewarm Bush and pro-Kerry. Pretty much no-one in this country wants 4 more years of the fat-headed fool.
If that is what it like in the USA's best and longest-standing ally, how do you guys think it will be in say France?
