Sorry for being completely redundant but Red Sox is clearly a bit slow - so here goes:

Panama: The Whole Truth

1. One Master License has been issued in Panama
2. A Master License must be held by a Panamanian
3. Betpanam is operating under this license
4. One Costa Rica book is moving to Panama and will also operate under this license - IMPORTANT NOTE: the Costa Rica book is not the license holder, its the Panamanian
5. For a software provider to sell in Panama they need to be sponsored by a Master Licensee. IQL has been sponsored
6. No one else has applied for a Master License nor are they likely to anytime soon
7. No other software company has asked to be sponsored by the Master Licensee; hence IQL is presently the only company able to license software there
8. Should an operator want to relocate to Panama and use software other than IQL's they can. All they need to do is ask the Master Licensee to sponser the other program

In short if you want to move to Panama and use non-IQL software all you have to do is ask and fill out some basic paperwork.

Fleabite:

Interesting stuff.

Do Panama Authorities have any rights, under this licensing agreement to "get into" the books customers transactions or database via the sw provider or the master licensee?

The gaming law gives the Gaming Authority the right to examine the Master Licensee's records and access their database. What they will or won't do with this information is anyone's guess. The law is also very explicit about credit - its simply not allowed. We'll see how closely the people who locate down there abide by this rule.

I'm sure that the guys visiting down there will visit with the Master Licensee. Lets hope they ask him some hard questions regarding information privacy, etc. If they do their jobs right they should also meet with the Gaming Commissioner and compare stories. I bet that there will be some discrepancies. In theory the Panamanian law is modeled after Vegas law. Enforcement, of course, is another matter.

FYI, yes I can read. I was only trying to figure out since it seems chips and you did not agree entirely. Besides why would IQL confirm they do have the master license if they don't?
That was all. Did not want to start a fight here but just wanted some information. Anyway good luck guys, I enjoy reading your posts.

Wow that changes things for many books, if they hold true to that I cant see many Big books moving over to Panama.

24 hours have gone by yet nothing has been posted by my friend IB. I guess the name calling of the past was all you had against me...

peace man, your silence is the best response.

Anyone know if Jimmy T and Lewis R are still with IQL? Haven't seen them in town in a very long time.

Jimmy's old house, in Sabanilla. He was living with the infamous Don Sanchez. I stayed there for a couple of months myself. Very nice place. The owner, Vito, is a nice guy too.

Definately the nicest house on that side of town.

Gringo:

I bumped into Jimmy T in SF. He used to go frequently to visit Herman weekly, when Herman was parked there.

I don't think Jimmy is with IQL any longer.

Nice to see you and Chips are now kissy face.

Great decision by Bowman's to drop that IQL garbage. Hopefully Hollywood will soon follow suit.
