At least he did something about it though. These refs need to be dressed down. Just wish it was one T and not two.

And he is a great in game coach, so I really wish it was a single tech like it should have been. Double tech and ejection is too much. I don't see iowa recovering from this without Fran because he designs so many of their plays and changes their defense so frequently. He pushes the right buttons most the time and now he can't.
Most refs give one T and let them say there piece.

The coach new the bullshit going on. I liked what he did but it's going to be hard with these easy fouls being called on everything. So pathetic

Fran had every right to be pissed at these pathetic refs but he went overboard there and cost Iowa 5 pts. agree with everything you guys said above very costly gonna be a real bad bad beat. to think Iowa was up 11 at half and Vegas puts out 7 for a halftime line... 18 pt swing for the game cover. unfuckingreal

Christ. white had a 3 on 2 huge advantage and he threw it away. It would have tied the game and the pass wasn't even close. now foul on the other end.

Asshole refs going to make sure they stop and check if its a 2 or not. They look for everything they can on iowa

These hicks from Iowa suck balls! Not to mention their coach Francine cost them the game. Last time I put money on these choke artists. Go back to the barn and milk some cows lol

well... wasn't easy but it worked out. happy for those who tailed or were already on Iowa. never felt so shitty after a cover, can't believe the Hawkeyes didn't win that outright. same old same old but how they lost is just sickening. Fran's outburst cost them 5 and was likely the difference in the game.

Yeah, the first half Iowa was clearly the better team and there defense was great. But the game just got so muddled up with all the touch fouls and offensive fouls and they lost all flow and it seemed like they took away their aggressiveness. I look forward to the rematch in Iowa because as you pointed out Iowa matches up really well with the way Bo plays. Just too many fouls and couldn't get a call on the other end.
They have blown some major games this year on the road though. Villanova, Iowa st on the road both should have been huge resume wins. I thought this year was going to be different and they were going to learn to close out games. Maybe it will be. I will keep betting them.

Iowa's 3 losses have come to 3 teams currently in the top 10 (Wisc, Nova, Iowa St) in which all 3 of those games Iowa had a double digit lead in the 2nd half. tell me two things 1) they aren't clutch when it matters and 2) the potential for a deep run in March is there IF they figure out how to close games out. right now I think it's 90% mental and their propensity to miss free throws down the stretch backs this up. once this team gets over the hump, watch out. good team to bet as an underdog until that happens.
