Is it too late to start looking at Costa Rica? Would Nicaragua or Panama(others?) be better\safer choices for some 5-15 year appreciation?

I would also agree with Judge on Nicaragua. Pacific side property will boom eventually. The surfers will make that country go, just as they did Jaco 25 years ago. Talk to Chucks at W.O.W Surf in Jaco (down the street from Monkey Bar). He will tell you they whole story of Jaco, very cool guy.

To add... Eddie from Alitercorp SA would be a good realtor to talk to. Eddie just shows property, he doesn't BS. Secondly he is reputible. Third, he was on TV... congrats Eddie! And lastly, he has access to a lot of homes on the market hich is hard to find in CR.

20% or more IRR is raisonable feasable by doing serious research, acquiring large parcels of land on the growth path and sell it to the next wave of developpers. We are proud to be one of the few companies which members are either licenced US Realtors or CCBR members. Additionally our fund was created in joint venture with one of the most reputable investment banking companies in the country. I hapenned to lurk these forums because I spend over 8 years on the sportsbook industry and I won't miss the chance to share this product with someone looking for a good investment opportunity.

Not trying to knock you or your business for that matter, but smells like a pozi scheme to me. Don't you think if it was common knowldge now that it probably isn't good for the average investor to partake in?

Not a good investment for the average investor unless the plots were under $20K. Like I said, everything is inflated. No real assessments done to prove the land is really worth what it is.

That's an erroneous statement, US Real Estate Market is driven by debt and sensitive to interest rates cycles. But I assume you do trust US Real Estate assessments. Costa Rica prices are cash prices therefore less subject to volatility.

Also an average investor benefits from better business opportunities on a consolidated fund that acting as an individual.

It's is all inflated. I take it you don't read my posts in the political forum. I just sold my house here for 100K in profit in 2 years, all tax free. Why? Because the market will stabalize and homes will be less of a demand... and who do you think will feel it first? That is right COSTA RICA! LOL!

Real Estate assessments in the US are way more credible than anything in CR. You tell me how a country with 14% inflation and less GDP can have a "legit' real estate market equivalent to that of the US. The city of Miami Florida has the same economic output of all of Central America combined plus Dominican republic. ja! ja! An opinion of course but the burden of proof is in your hands, so show me the paperwork/evidence and you win.

Income elasticity of demand = % change in quantity demanded/% change in income
